Groups & Experiences
Our Groups & Experiences are collective spaces where mental skills and wellbeing are developed through shared activity, creativity and connection.
They are designed to be:
inclusive and accessible
non-competitive
community-led
adaptable for in-person and online delivery
Some groups start locally. Others may run online or in different locations over time.
All are built around the same He-Ro mental skills model.
How our groups work
Each He-Ro group or experience:
focuses on building mental skills such as grit, mindfulness, attention, emotional regulation, resilience and flow
uses activity, play or movement as the learning medium
prioritises psychological safety, enjoyment and belonging
runs with limited numbers to protect quality and well-being
Groups operate on a monthly donation model, helping us to keep delivery sustainable and inclusive while allowing those who can to support others.
LE-GO HE-ROES
Building mental skills through play
LE-GO HE-ROES is our flagship group experience for children aged 6–12.
Through collaborative LEGO challenges, children develop:
confidence and focus
teamwork and communication
emotional regulation
problem-solving and creativity
Mental skills such as mindfulness, resilience and flow are embedded naturally through play — without pressure or competition.
What’s coming next?
LE-GO HE-ROES is just the beginning.
Future Groups & Experiences may include:
creative wellbeing groups
non-competitive movement and play
mindfulness-based experiences
online workshops and group sessions
holiday or pop-up experiences
We grow based on community interest and demand.
If there’s a group or experience you’d like to see, we’d love to hear your ideas.
Our values & safeguarding
All He-Ro groups are delivered with care, intention and responsibility.
DBS-checked delivery
Safeguarding principles embedded in all sessions
Calm, inclusive environments
Clear boundaries and expectations
A full safeguarding and child protection policy is in development as the project grows.
