Our approach is proactive, practical and grounded in sport psychology principles — helping people develop the skills they need before pressure becomes a problem.

Who we work with

We work in partnership with:

  • primary and secondary schools

  • colleges and education providers

  • sports clubs and academies

  • community organisations

  • workplaces and performance-focused teams

Our work can support both individuals and collectives, depending on context and need.

What this work can include

Education and partnership work may involve:

  • workshops for students, athletes or staff

  • mental skills education embedded into existing programmes

  • support around exam pressure, performance anxiety and confidence

  • wellbeing and mental fitness input for staff teams

  • applied work on identity, culture and group cohesion

Delivery can be one-off, short-term or ongoing, and tailored to the setting.

How we work

We focus on:

  • practical tools, not jargon

  • skills that can be applied immediately

  • creating psychologically safe learning environments

  • working collaboratively with existing staff and structures

Our aim is not to add pressure or unrealistic expectations, but to support healthier, more effective ways of coping, learning and performing.

A values-led approach

All Education & Partnership work aligns with The He-Ro Project’s core values:

  • accessibility

  • inclusion

  • sustainability

  • wellbeing alongside performance

Where possible, work is delivered in line with our donation-based ethos, helping reduce barriers to access and supporting wider community impact.

If you’re exploring ways to support wellbeing, mental skills or performance within your school, organisation or community, we’d welcome a conversation.
